Boston Lindy Hop at the Main Stage 

Boston Lindy Hop is a swing dance organization that offers multiple levels of Lindy Hop and authentic jazz classes in Boston, Cambridge, and the surrounding area. Our classes are designed for people new to dance or with previous experience. Our roster of knowledgable instructors can introduce you to the Boston swing dance community and help you improve your dancing! This year’s Lawn Party jazz routine was choreographed by Andrea Byrnes and Andrew Selzer and features several Boston Lindy Hop students. www.bostonlindyhop.com


Gaby Cook at the Main Stage 

Gaby Cook is a veteran lindy hopper of all stripes. For the last 15 years, she has been an active professional in the global lindy hop scene. In addition to her career as a dance teacher, she is also a choreographer and performer of jazz era performance material for audiences of all kinds.

Currently she is artistic director for two New York dance based companies based in the language of Swing and Vernacular Jazz: Wild Rhythm Dance Company and Gatsby Entertainment. These two companies have presented feature performances on stages like Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out SeriesJazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra92nd St Y, Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln CenterThe Great Gatsby Party and many appearances at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center. Wild Rhythm is a current dance company in residence at Brooklyn College through the CUNY Dance Initiative program for the 2019-2020 season. www.gabycook.com


Hop to the Beat at the Main Stage

Hop to the Beat has been bringing Lindy Hop to the Boston area and beyond since 1995! Activities offered include classes, dances, workshops and the annual Beantown Camp. HTTB was created out of a passion for Lindy Hop, and the desire to spread the spirit and joy of this wonderful dance. Lessons are aimed primarily at social dancing, accessible to anyone interested in learning. This performance will be from a Collegiate Shag routine class with instructors and choreographers Aurelie and Tony Tye. www.hoptothebeat.com

The Riff at the Main Stage  

The Riff is a Boston-based practice and performance team that evolved from a vision to create a community of learning for local social dancers. Founded and coached by professional dance teacher and choreographer, Katie Piselli, The Riff inspires audiences with the spirit of Lindy Hop and jazz roots dance while serving as a training ground for its members. www.theriffacademy.com
